The latest advances in generative artificial intelligence and large language models have enabled these tools to reach a level of quality that allows them to become sufficiently competent assistants for many areas. One of these fields where they can be of great help is in application development, where they can assist individuals with limited technical knowledge in the specifics of development. In this course, we will explore the most relevant aspects of the techniques behind these models and see through practical cases how to use them to assist in application development. The course is particularly aimed at people with little technical knowledge who want to get started in the world of development assisted by artificial intelligence models, but it may also be interesting for other profiles looking to incorporate these tools into their workflow.
The course is structured through a series of training videos, complemented with additional reading and supplementary material, designed to be followed without the need for prior technical knowledge, allowing students to work through the content sequentially over the course of weeks or months. It concludes with a test on the course material, and successfully passing the test will grant a certificate of course completion issued by the BISITE group at the University of Salamanca.
