This course is aimed at university students from various fields of knowledge with the purpose of understanding the foundations of the field of artificial intelligence, and more specifically, generative artificial intelligence. The course is divided into two parts: the first includes a series of "classic" tools, but with a modern evolution toward some of the most advanced technologies presented in the course, applied from the perspective of the data science discipline, which seeks to extract useful knowledge from data; while the second part covers the recent generative AI models that have caused a greater revolution: large language models.
The course is developed through a series of short videos. It also includes some test exercises on the topics presented.
