The recent rise of generative artificial intelligence has made it an unavoidable tool in the educational field. This course will present the main advancements in this area, alongside the more established field of natural language processing, from the perspective of teaching Spanish. The course is designed in the format of brief audiovisual capsules, with the goal of providing an overview of the technologies and serving as a springboard for further learning on more specific aspects of greater interest.
The course is designed in the format of short audiovisual capsules, with the goal of providing an overview of the technologies and serving as a starting point for further training on the specific aspects of greatest interest, complemented with additional material. It is aimed at students from varied backgrounds with an interest in teaching Spanish and/or generative artificial intelligence, without the need for prior technical knowledge, to work through the content sequentially over the course of a few weeks or months, and concludes with a test on the content, the successful completion of which will enable the issuance of a certificate of course completion from the BISITE group at the University of Salamanca.
