The course is aimed at university students from various fields of knowledge, with the objective of understanding the foundations of the field of artificial intelligence, and more specifically, generative artificial intelligence. The course is divided into two parts: the first covers a series of "classic" tools, but with a modern evolution toward some of the most advanced technologies presented in the course, applied from the perspective of the data science discipline, which focuses on how to extract useful knowledge from data; while the second part addresses recent generative AI models that have brought about a greater revolution: large language models.
The course is developed through a series of short videos. It also includes some test exercises on the topics presented.
