The International Chair in Blockchain for Cybersecurity, CyberChain, presents the course Competences in the Use of Blockchain Technology. Thanks to its bilingual format, it opens the door to a wide audience interested in learning about Blockchain technology.
As the paradigm shifts toward Industry 5.0, which requires greater distribution and decentralization of processes, Blockchain technology emerges as a key tool to create and secure such platforms. Therefore, it is highly important to offer training programs where students can understand the contribution of this technology to industry, why it stands out as one of the most viable alternatives, and what challenges must be faced for its application in real-world scenarios.
This course aims to bring fundamental knowledge of Blockchain technology to students and professionals who need to understand DLTs (Distributed Ledger Technologies), Blockchain, and Smart Contracts, as well as how to implement these technologies in real industrial contexts.
The training, as with the Chair itself, is coordinated by INCIBE, the University of Salamanca, and the BISITE Research Group. It is designed for self-paced learning, featuring audiovisual materials and presentations. Students who complete all activities will receive a certificate of attendance certifying their learning.
The course offers a comprehensive learning experience, allowing students to connect theory, practice, and critical analysis. It focuses on acquiring basic knowledge about Blockchain technology and understanding how it can be implemented in real industrial environments.
