General information

The International Chair in Blockchain for Cybersecurity, CyberChain, presents the course Cybersecurity in Industry: Protection, Innovation, and Knowledge Analysis, a free and online training program available on the e4you platform.

The training, like the Chair itself, is coordinated by the National Cybersecurity Institute of Spain (INCIBE), the University of Salamanca, and the BISITE Research Group. It is designed for professionals, researchers, and anyone interested in the practical application of cybersecurity measures in industrial environments, as well as in specialized research in the field.

The course is divided into three modules:

  • Institutional Cyberdefense: Forensic Standards and Cooperation with Security Agencies. This module delves into the understanding of interaction with cybersecurity agencies, as well as forensic procedures and standards related to institutions.
  • Innovation and Development in Cybersecurity: Current Trends and Challenges. The second module addresses the current state of cybersecurity in R&D&I. It also explores how research and development in cybersecurity contribute to innovation in the field, examining both current trends and ongoing challenges.
  • Systematic Review and Bibliometric Analysis: Tools for Cybersecurity Research. Students will learn how to conduct a bibliometric analysis and a systematic review, concluding with a practical exercise on SLR.

The training is designed to be followed at one’s own pace, with audiovisual materials and presentations. Students who complete the activities will receive a certificate of attendance recognizing their learning achievement.

Methodology:

It seeks to provide a comprehensive learning experience, where students can connect theory and practice. The course focuses on acquiring fundamental knowledge about cybersecurity in the industrial sector, as well as its protection and innovation.
