General information

The International Chair in Trustworthy AI and Demographic Challenge (DemIA) presents the "AI Tool Essentials for Boosting Business Productivity" course, a free online training programme available on the e4you platform.

The training, much like the Chair itself, is coordinated by the BISITE Research Group and funded by the Secretary of State for Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence. DemIA addresses challenges such as depopulation, ageing and territorial inequality from a technological, ethical and human-centric perspective.

The course is designed for individuals of all profiles who wish to familiarise themselves with the trending AI tools in the market to enhance workplace productivity.

The course is structured into 5 informative modules:

  • Canva AI Tool
  • ChatGPT and Perplexity Tools
  • DALL-E Tool
  • Notion Tool
  • Prompt Engineering

 

Course Competencies:

Upon completion, the student will be able to:

  • Understand the potential and uses of generative artificial intelligence tools in content creation, information organisation and professional task support.
  • Use conversational AI tools (ChatGPT and Perplexity) for efficient and critical information searching, generation and synthesis.
  • Design visual content using AI tools (Canva AI and DALL·E) by applying basic criteria of visual communication and assisted creativity.
  • Organise information and workflows in digital environments (Notion), integrating AI-generated content into personal or professional processes.
  • Apply prompt engineering principles to obtain precise, relevant and ethically appropriate results across various generative AI tools.
